I don't think there's a proper news story anywhere, yet, but UnityND held a protest in Leith today, and there are extensive posts about it at their Facebook page. It seems that, as usual, the haters were heavily outnumbered. (Mods -- These as quotes from a series of Facebook posts, so I assume that as with Twitter posts, they're not limited by the four-paragraph rule.)

I got my user name from the Proclaimers' album Sunshine on Leith, not Scotland (directly) or North Dakota. But I'm relieved that the good people of Leith are good people. Good on'em.

6. Grew up in North Dakota (in the 70s)

Not the place I would have picked to start a white power nation (were I so free from the ravages of intelligence). The large militant population of First Nations peoples wouldn't have stood for it then and I'm guessing, they haven't become more accepting of fools.

Remember both Wounded Knee incidents as long as the grass grows.
