He doesn't decide if the woman gets a abortion. He decides if Medicaid will reimburse the costs of it.

If a woman needs Medicaid to finance an abortion, and he denies it, then he, indeed does get to decide. Critical thinking is not your forte. Calling another DUer a liar will hasten your departure from this site.

Outright denying a service is different from saying go ahead, but I'm not paying for it.

At the least, it's a half-truth - Something that Republicans love using, and something that Democrats shouldn't lower themselves to using.

I've seen a similar issue happen at least once with one of my friends. Believe me, denial of payment is a denial of service.

But that isn't what this pic implies. It implies that he decides if a abortion happens or not. He doesn't, he decides if the state funds it or not.

This is my point, that the picture isn't telling the truth. It gives us a partial truth with the hopes that people are either to stupid to check the facts, or that a person will find some way of justifying that half truth to make it a truth. Which is, ironically, the same tactics that Republicans use.

whether or not a woman can have an abortion. It does not say in the image that he legally prevents abortion from being an option.

The single greatest strength of the modern Republican Party, the thing that allows them to win fights they have no business winning, is their utter and complete lack of shame.

They're very aware of it. They just don't give a fuck.
