The House Republicans are over-playing their hand...

Yes, they won an historic victory in 2010 primarily because they were able to gin up the hatred of the Tea Party. They won 62 seats and took over in the House. America has been paying the price ever since.

But they tried the same trick with Mitt Romney in 2012 and they failed miserably. Maybe they now think it was just the poor candidacy of Mitt Romney that led to their defeat across the board? After all, not only did President Obama win by about 5 million votes, but the Senate and the House picked up seats. If not for the gerrymandering in 2010, the Democrats may have taken back the House?

But there is a long time between now and the next election. It is not this November but the next. Their plan to keep the country in crisis with threats of shutdowns will wear very thin by then. Obamacare will not carry the weight that it carried in 2010, especially when more and more Americans receive benefits from the program.

So their dream of catching lightning in a bottle again in 2014 is far-fetched. Make no mistake. Their entire strategy is political. They want to keep the House and maybe win the Senate and they think their opposition to Obamacare is the best way for them to do it, just like they did in 2010/

Something about this crowd of clowns who can look straight into the camera and lie while the corporate media sucks it up. Its shameful and it needs to stop for the sake of the USA.

Ahem, see UpChuck. Duing the elections he lied so often that even he begin to believe his BS.

A lot of disillusioned Democrats just stayed home and allowed the teabaggers to flock to the polls unchallenged. If the baggers continue with this streak of pissing off everyone who gives a damn, hopefully the Dems will be angry enough to not repeat that mistake.

start showing their anger with the GOP. The older ladies at work don't talk as much trash about Dems as they used to. It could be because I snapped, or more likely they realize that they may have to retire soon and want to know they will not be forgotten by the politicians. At least I'm hoping.

running scared. Democrats taking some northern republican seats and some seats in California, Arizona and Florida should be enough to give Democrats a working majority.

Especially a "plan"! All these years and they still have not come up with their own "better" plan to replace Obamacare. All these years and they simply used Obamacare to avoid everything else. No plans for jobs, which Boehner said would be his number one priority back in 2010. No plans, just BS about Obamacare, and saying NO to everything that might actually help our country get back on track.

These morons need to be replace no question about it!
