The amazing journey of Coley II (C2)!

"C2 left his night roost in Cuba on the 12th of September, reaching the western peninsula of Haiti that night. He started early on the 13th to make his Trans Caribbean Flight. By 9 am on September 14th, he’d reached the coast of Colombia, after 25 hours of NON-STOP flying from the southeast shores of Haiti, a distance of about 465 miles over water. He has been an amazing migrator, but I never expected him to reach Colombia so quickly. By the end of September 14th (Day 13), he was already in Venezuela.

Since leaving Jamaica Bay he flew more than 2600 miles in 15 days, with three non-stop night flights. He has not reached his winter home yet, so there is more to come.

Details of his travels will be in the next report but I wanted to get this exciting news to you without delay."
