In Law School, Ted Cruz Only Studied With Students From Harvard, Princeton Or Yale
The profile on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in next month's issue of GQ yielded a detail about his lofty standards in law school.
Cruz, who earned his undergraduate degree at Princeton University before attending Harvard Law School, evidently only accepted the most elite study partners.
From Jason Zengerle's piece:
The elite academic circles that Cruz was now traveling in began to rub off. As a law student at Harvard, he refused to study with anyone who hadn't been an undergrad at Harvard, Princeton, or Yale. Says Damon Watson, one of Cruz's law-school roommates: "He said he didn't want anybody from 'minor Ivies' like Penn or Brown."

(2,667 posts)Anyone who would restrict their education to what could be conveyed by a preselected set of information sources is nothing but a damned fool, which is something that Mr. Cruz has demonstrated himself to be in spades. What bothers me far more is how many graduates from those "Christian" Colleges find their way to Washington, both in and around Government.
