CLEVELAND, Ohio Charter schools in Ohio performed far worse than traditional districts on the most recent state report cards.
On measures of student achievement and academic progress, charters statewide had a tiny percentage with top grades and a far larger share with poor grades on both.

The above chart, courtesy of the Fordham Institute's recent compilation of the 2012-13 state report cards, offers the same look that Fordham pie charts showed about district schools last week: How were the different A-F grades distributed among schools statewide?
