The fact is a Nat's ass slice of Matthews' resume will be more than some of Matthews critics will accomplish in a lifetime plus. Matthews was a Peace Corp volunteer who worked in a part of Africa helping Blacks that were victims of apartheid, Matthews was a speech-writer for Jimmy Carter and an aide to Tip O'Neill as O'Neill bravely fought off Reagan's nihilism. I find it fucking hilarious that so called compassionate Liberals look down their noses at a person who has accomplished more for Liberal objectives that any of them would in two lifetimes.
