A sincere word for the Republican Party...
The PEOPLE are NOT standing behind YOU, they're standing behind President Obama, whom they have elected TWICE and behind the Democratic Party, who has their best interests at heart.
IF they were in fact standing behind you, YOU would be in charge of this government... BUT clearly, YOU are NOT!
The ONLY hold that YOU have on this government has come by hook and by crook, through gerrymandering of the ONLY body susceptible to that practice, The US House of Representatives, and through the millions of dollars given to you by your wealthy masters. It has only granted you an advantage there by the slimmest of margins. It's not like the PEOPLE can't see that.
That does NOT give the Republicans a mandate to destroy Obamacare. Your so-called mandate exists in your own minds, as your way to project your hatred for the President and your actions, which stand squarely against the overall welfare of the American People.
YOU couldn't care less about the American People, that's NO secret either.
IF, through your schemes, YOU cause a shutdown of the government and further harm to the American economy, YOU will pay dearly at the polls for the heretofore future. YOU will make yourselves a regionally significant, minority party for at least another generation and it will all be your fault alone.
The PEOPLE have had enough of YOUR foolishness.
Continue it at your own peril.

you are in large part preaching to the converted. We love you for it. 
Please also make this into a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Send it the the RNA, RSCC and RCCC and send it to any one (or more) of your elected officials who happens to be a Republican - or if you are unfortunate enough to one of those two Dem Lites in the House as your Rep.
While they will likely not pay attention, at least it will represent a POV much different from that they usually receive. The more that happens, the more likely they are to begin to pay attention.
My late mother, a staunch lifelong Democrat, signed up for many Republican organizations - so that she could see what drivel the "leaders" were sending out to the "faithful" - and that was in the days when the GOP was still comparatively sane. I haven't got the strength for that (and already receive WAY too much political spam). I do at least try to weigh in on occasion with the RNC. But it is truly like being a very small whisper swept away by the wind in an infinite wilderness of insanity.
