We have petitioned to remove the Republican Party from our campus, and I'll be leading the debate. Watching this fiasco has just energized my and my colleagues that we won't just remove the party, we may be able to have the college expel the students

my political beliefs. As a progessive, you should be too. If the shoe were on the other foot, I'll bet you'd be screaming about it to the heavens.

Not their political beliefs per se, though with such a mindset they are more prone to committing violations.

We were able to prevent the republicans from being funded to bring in extremist speakers, but didn't succeed in getting their club disbanded even though we proved several violations that were documented that would normally get an organization expelled. It's a partial victory, though, as they could now just crowdfund their event, which was what we were trying to prevent as well.
