The Republican Party is standing on the ledge. It does not wish to jump but the crowd clammers to see the leap. Ted can't wait, he's going to give his Party a push.
This "filibuster" of his will excite the T-Party clowns to the point of frenzy and what few sensible Republicans as still exist will have to jump on the bandwagon. They all know what happened to Newt back on November 13, 1995; he gave Clinton a garbage-laden continuing resolution and The Big Dog Vetoed it. The public, possibly smarter than today's, saw it for what it was and decimated the Republicans in the next election.
Push 'em Ted, push 'em - and god bless you for it.
