(23,156 posts)I actually have good coverage through my part time job (yes, part time, yes good coverage) but if I didn't I'd only be out of pocket $660/year for a bronze plan where I live.

(36,063 posts)My state isn't going to expand Medicaid so, as I read this, I get no subsidy???? And I couldn't pay 1/4 of the annual cost of an $8000 policy

If your state does not expand Medicaid:
You will not be eligible for subsidies in the exchanges because your income is below 100% of the federal poverty level.
