I had to move the pasta box a few times. You'd be surprised at how bare it can look if not arranged properly! Lol.

I usually always have a ton of pasta on hand (more than I had in the "before" pic). The DeCecco is a bit more expensive so I'll have to stock up when it goes on sale.

I don't often read gay-issue postings so it didn't occur to me to notice the brand name of the pasta maker. Now that I know I applaud the move.

They already got the money for you buying it. You can't unring that bell. Just don't give them another penny.

Or the food bank is a good idea too.

Most grocery stores will allow returns of boxed and canned goods if they were recently purchased. Tell them you bought the wrong brand.

Maybe we should all do this.....

Both of my sons volunteer at the local food bank and have since a very young age. Service to those less fortunate that us is something I learned from my parents and they learned from their parents.

Is the parent company of your new pasta more forward-thinking? I'm not familiar with that brand, but I don't think it would help if you just substituted one nasty group for another.

My shelves are stocked with the brand Aldi carries. I have no idea of their political/social leanings, but I can't afford to be picky right now. I avoid the assholes whenever possible, though.

And as has already been noted, either eat it, or donate it. Throwing good food away is something that always gets to me and makes me sad.
