So I'm going to my first Same Sex Marriage tomorrow.

My Wife is helping setting up at the park where it's being held. The wedding party has the park reserved for exactly 90 minutes. She bought me a new sport coat, a black (designer) T-shirt to wear under it, pleated slacks, and shoes. There is no after-party.

If left to my own devices, I'd go in my favorite shorts and T-shirt. It's in a park in the mountains for goodness sakes.

I bet I'll be over dressed.

I haven't met either of them but I've seen both on stage. My Wife knows both of them very well.

There won't be anyone at their wedding whose smile is bigger than mine.

But a T-shirt is a T-shirt, and a designer adds nothing more than lots of $$$ to one. I doubt you'd find a difference between them, except that the costly one lasts longer.

So strange. Ten years ago as an Adult School Instructor I wore a shirt and tie every single day... Pressed slacks, shined shoes... I was teaching Voc Ed classes and at the same time working as the Job Placement Coordinator for my School District. That's where I MET my Wife...

I don't even have those clothes today... my closet belongs to my Wife LOL.
