(MO) Grade 2 Art Class Raised Questions

Something a second grader brought home from school has raised some eyebrows. The student at Truman Elementary in Oronogo came home with a handout showing the Arabic alphabet. That didn't sit well with a parent, who found it inappropriate. Webb City School Superintendent Dr. Anthony Rosetti disagrees.

"I don't believe that was forcing anything inappropriate. It was completely optional if the student wanted to have that part of their art project or not."

Rosetti tells News Talk KZRG the class covers art around the world. He says he's willing to listen to any parents concerned about that subject matter.
