I'm even gladder I'm not there. College football should not be played at night.

In North Georgia, the temps at night are in the 50s and 50s at night, and daytime temps are in the 70s and sunny.

So it's about 90 degrees and 90 percent humidity. In December it gets down to the 80s. (The middle of the summer is actually cooler than the middle of the winter here, oddly enough, because of the monsoon pattern, even though we're still in the northern hemisphere.)

Mississippi is worse in, say, August, but that only lasts a month or so. Sigh.

I must have picked up the branch that fell on the road in front of my driveway twice now! Real big-ass thing too! Had to drag it over to the spot in-between our yards, getting soaking wet mind you, and then toss this monstrosity into the little lot between the yards. Twice! When the rain finally stops, which is not soon, we'll clean that out. At least it's off the road. Man, is it pouring down rain!
