(111,249 posts)I tried Bertolli once back in the dark ages and didn't find the increase in cost reflected in any increase in quality.
Oh, and the idiot didn't just piss gay people off. He also pissed off those of us with gay friends, neighbors, family and coworkers.

(1,375 posts)I have a couple of boxes of their product because I buy in bulk from club stores and although I will get a different brand next time, I'm not going to waste food and pay extra to ship it to the company like that.
I have no problem in supporting a boycott by not purchasing their products in the future, but I don't have the budget to restock my pantry, even if it's only under $20 worth of product.

(19,964 posts)Don't get your back up. Buy another brand next time, that's fine. Sheesh.

Just bought some pasta from Trader Joe's the other day, with their name on the packaging, and I was quite impressed.
