12 Pasta Brands That Haven't Pissed Off Gay People

Huffington Post:

Barilla chairman Guido Barilla told those offended by the company's anti-gay ad policy to "eat someone else's pasta." So without further ado, here's a list of some pasta brands that have not offended gay people.

Buttony
Garofalo
Bernoulli
Ronzoni
DeCecco
Aldiva
San Remo
Delallo
al dente
Affreschi
Cipriani
Chef Boyardee

Chef Boyardee? Don't we have to draw the line somewhere?

I tried Bertolli once back in the dark ages and didn't find the increase in cost reflected in any increase in quality.

Oh, and the idiot didn't just piss gay people off. He also pissed off those of us with gay friends, neighbors, family and coworkers.

Looks like he just did to his brand what Paula Deen did to hers.

There needs to be a united boycott against any CEO that makes such an outrageous statement.
And the shareholders should sue him.

I ate a can of this nearly every day when I was a latchkey kid in middle school.

More recently I existed in Puerto Rico for three weeks on a can of Ravioli for lunch with a small loaf of Puerto Rican bread from SuperMax a day.

Chef Boy-ar-dee was a real chef, named Ettore Boiardi. He owned a restaurant in Cleveland. And that picture on the can is of him, not some actor.

I have a couple of boxes of their product because I buy in bulk from club stores and although I will get a different brand next time, I'm not going to waste food and pay extra to ship it to the company like that.

I have no problem in supporting a boycott by not purchasing their products in the future, but I don't have the budget to restock my pantry, even if it's only under $20 worth of product.

That's the brand I see the most.

Just bought some pasta from Trader Joe's the other day, with their name on the packaging, and I was quite impressed.
