(997 posts)Up until about the GOP convention, they were saying they wanted to "repeal and replace" the ACA. Now it is just "repeal". The GOP's health care position (beyond repealing the ACA) is tort "reform" and allowing insurance companies to sell policies across state lines. Two things that are not going to move the needle on costs OR increase coverage. But when you get down to it, they don't see a problem with the current system.
