Did you think the GOP would be at this level

We all knew as soon as President Obama took office, The GOP will treat him like they
hadnt treated no president before, we knew they would play on people's racism.

But (be honest now) did you ever think they would take it to this level and try and
shut down the government.

received more death threats, than any other President in history. That says a hell of a lot, doesn't it?

They fear America is being taken over by socialists and minorities and will stop at nothing to get it back. We could be headed to another civil war if these maniacs don't come to their senses.

He should have stood up to them before this.

The Republicans are bullies, they think the President will cave again.

I hope he doesn't.

I hope the shut down is over shortly.

so I knew exactly how they'd treat him. I knew how low they'd go, they'd gone there in the 90s.

I just wish people in the heartland would wake up and vote this trash out. Maybe this will do it.

They whipped up bullshit scandal after bullshit scandal for Clinton, until they finally created a pretext to impeach, then went full bore to do so even though it had no chance and had no support outside of their foamy base. All the while calling Democrats traitors (Newt literally wrote a playbook for that, and promoted its use)

Then they stole an election, rammed through their pet tax cuts, reduced counterterrorism resources just in time for the biggest attack since WW2, use our armed forces for their half-assed neoconservative joyride in Iraq, ballooned he debt, gave swindlers a free (or helping) hand, never once letting up on the drumbeat about how Democrats would wreck the country...

And the moment they lost the election to a Democrat they outright said that they'd block everything, that a crappy economy would work in their favor because everyone blames would blame the president.

Over and over their takeaway has been that they'd have won if it weren't for those backstabbing RINOs.

Yes, it was always possible they wouldn't be this bad, but why would you not consider the possibility? They've been on this trajectory for years, and their internal feedback mechanisms encourage it.
