Blaming the Affordable Care Act for cost increases is getting absurd

My father-in-law is in Independent Living.
His monthly rates are going up $130 to $2,888.

Here is a snippet from the rate increase letter:

They have a high employee turnover.
My guess is that they don't pay good at all considering every Christmas season they plea for tips for their employees.

I got to wondering...how many avenues are being used to blame the ACA for price increases?
At my workplace Anthem blamed 4% of a 19% increase on it.

This appears to be a concerted effort by many entities to place blame.
I can only imagine this is being played out exponentially across this country and that millions of people are getting similar written and verbal excuses.

This is an uphill battle folks.
Has Obama been out front enough on this?

They blamed a small increase on ACA. It was smaller than the usual increase and hasn't gone up since then. The plan I have is being discontinued at the end of this year because it "doesn't meet ACA standards." I haven't contacted my agent yet to find another plan, but I will soon. I've been told by repugs in my office that my cost will double. We'll see.
