Update from Courant: "State police are talking with a man boxed into a dorm room in James Hall at Central Connecticut State University, a source told The Courant. The man is isolated and there has been no hostile act, the source said."

ETA: They are saying that no one has reported hearing shots fired at this time, thank goodness. They are speculating that it may be a hostage situation.

Our son, wife and 2 granddaughters live just up the street from CCSC. We were just there last week. Have to drive through the campus to get to their house. The pictures are very familiar...glad it worked out ok and they got the guy. Scary...
