(11,589 posts)I really believe in these last hours we can ensure that we elect an attorney general that will will work for this commonwealth.
We can turn this teabagging tide around -- and it could very well happen right here in Virginia.

Pay no attention to anyone trashing McCauliffe. Thank you.

(11,589 posts)Getting a (D) -- or three, or more -- elected is important right here and right now.
The only trashing I've seen are from people not from our commonwealth. This is who we have, and these are people who can get elected in Virginia, and I think they will do a fine job representing us.

(609 posts)So as a lawyer, if he didn't understand what he was proposing, he is incompetent at best (and therefore not well-qualified to be the Attorney General of Virginia). I think it's far more likely that he knew exactly what he was proposing with this bill. I follow the General Assembly every year and this bill stood out to me at the time as a clear example that we were entering a real-life version of "The Handmaid's Tale."
Meanwhile Obenshain and all the other GOP candidates (my incumbent delegate included) are whining that their bills/votes have been completely misrepresented. NO--it's just that they are all finally having a big bright spotlight shined on them.
Mark Herring is just a great all-around person and he will be a super AG.
