My pre-order just downloaded on my Kindle so I guess I'm going to be up late. Anyone else?

(3,469 posts)I love Barbara Mikulski. My dad use to work for the mayor's office in Baltimore when she was a state senator in Md. He said she drove them crazy-always calling on behalf of her constituents to find out why something was happening or when a problem would be resolved. He meant it respectfully though.

(2,673 posts)I read their other book, Game Changer, and it was a good read. Very insightful about how Hillary conducted her campaign. And I felt sorry for Sarah Palin, all McCain wanted to do is use her to raise money. She was obviously out of her element.
Lately, been reading true crime, just finished Pilgrim's Wilderness, the book about the family in McCarthy Alaska, enjoyed that, but now I'm ready for some politics, will order Double Down from Amazon right away.

Especially looking forward to the stuff about Christie. For some reason the press adores him and his image needs some mud slung his way. He's another RWNJ in enough "moderate" disguise to fool normally blue NJ.
