Of those, 1 is McGahyesville, in Rockingham County - very Republican - typically about 80-20 R-D:
http://electionresults.virginia.gov/resultsPREC.aspx?type=SWR&rid=169&cty=165&osn=6
Population of McGaheysville is about 4,500, nearly twice that of, say, Timbersville, which the Repub got a lead of 211 from. So that could be lead of 400 for him.

The other 2 are in Mecklenburg County:

Harder to call - Repub overall, but some precincts did go for Herring.

It will be close and we are just to have to take the touch screen results as they are- no audit trail.

My precinct, and a number of others in Virginia, started using paper ballots/optical scan this year.

Whether that's because there aren't any, or, as seems more likely, they haven't been counted yet, I don't know. The rules say a recount can be done, as state expense, for a race with a margin of under a half percent, so I agree it will be inevitable. And there may be lots of arguments about 'provisional' votes.

It would be interesting to know (and maybe someone can try to find out) how many provisional ballots were filled out in Virginia.

The D's got the Gov and Lt. Gov, let's just hope we pull off the Attorney General race.

When do they start counting again???
