Christie won big because he wrapped his arms around president & Dems rewarded him by standing down.

Chris Christie had a big win and gave a pretty good speech. But the theme he took was about cooperation. The reality is that Christie won big because he wrapped his arms around the president and the Democrats rewarded him by standing down. What kind of message does that send to the rest of the Republican Party?

If Christie could have told Obama to F-off, he would have.

Christie correctly determined that people who need disaster relief have little patience for government grid lock. So this "small government conservative" embraced big government.

In state Dems, looked out for themselves. They were not about to run against Christie after Sandy.

He would probably have still won, but the margin would have been slim, if Booker's senate seat was included on the correct ballot/day.

chance of Christie being nominated for President. First of all, he is a Northeast Republican and those are viewed suspiciously by everyone else anyway. Then there is the public way he cooperated with Obama after Sandy just days before the election. They hate the guy.

I can already tell you all what pictures Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz will use in the runup to the Iowa primary:
