Answer: Yes, in all likelihood. You shouldn't wear bulky knits and horizontal stripes on your ass.

I'm looking at it from a place of: They-just-cut-SNAP-and-the-are-likely-going-to-cut-more-services-people-can't-find-jobs-so-they-can't-afford-heat-my-kids-need-something-inexpensive-and-warm-to-wear.

And frankly also from a youthful sense of fun and adventure.

We can at least agree that both sides have merit.

and would unravel them and knit us mittens with long tops that covered most of our arms and socks to play outside in at home. We didn't get cold, and we had plenty of each.
