Rush Limbaugh and the other people on the right who don't like Christie?
That is what I'm starting to think. They don't care for Christie but they put him back in office to anger the Tea Party and Limbaugh.

(10,960 posts)democrats feel that Christie is more centrist than he is.
Christie needs that far-right disdain, and probably orchestrates it. His state has a 700,000 Dem advantage.

(17,064 posts)I know nothing about NJ politics. However.... Christie was popular enough to get elected the first time. He did a fairly good job in Sandy, which was fresh in voters memory. And apparently the Dem challenger ran a poor campaign, and didn't have a clear message to voters why she should replace a fairly popular incumbent. End of story. I seriously doubt voters stood in the voting booth and asked themselves "Now who do I vote for to piss off Rush Limbaugh?"
