I went on McAfee site do not see any concerns and have not seen it since. No conspiracies suspected on my part but I found it peculiar, in the years I have used McAfee this has only happened 4 or 5 times never on DU and you could find out why it happened. I did allow an exception to continue on DU.

17. Ads are usually hosted on other servers

And, being ads, they're ideal targets for attackers. If a site gets compromised, or even a specific ad on a site, there'll be a couple of days where every other website that uses that ad server will get flagged by antivirus software.

My AV will occasionally freak out at me with sites I know absolutely for certain are safe; it's usually because an ad server they use got owned. The ad itself doesn't even have to appear on the site you're looking at; the software can just go "Danger, Will Robinson!" from the association.
