we expect to figure things out in 30 seconds, our attention span is very short. Just look at the ACA website issue, for many if they can't get on it in less than a minute, to them it's broken. Much of our laziness is because of computers and tv. We don't have the attention to dig into problems and issues. But also a part of it is that corporations have squeezed the working man (all segments except for the top 5% or so) to the point of trying to get more and more out of them. But on the whole people aren't willing to examine what would be best for the country and them.

minor point: he is a real doctor- graduated from Duke Medical School which is where he received his M.D. He did his internship and residency there.

the question is whether or not he's board certified. The answer: He is not.

Paul passed the certifying examination of the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) in 1995, entitling him to describe himself for 10 years as a "board-certified" ophthalmologist. In 1992, the century-old ABO, which in 2010 listed 16,000 ophthalmologists on its rolls, had begun requiring physicians to recertify every 10 years; prior to that, no limits had been placed on duration of certification.[24] In 1997, in protest of the ABO's decision to grandfather in older ophthalmologists and not require them to periodically recertify in order to maintain their status as board-certified practitioners, Paul along with 200 other ophthalmologists formed the National Board of Ophthalmology (NBO) to offer an alternative ophthalmology certification system.[25]

The NBO was incorporated in 1999, but it was dissolved in 2000 because of failure to file required paperwork with the Kentucky Secretary of State's office. Paul later recreated the board in September 2005, three months before his original 10-year certification from the ABO lapsed, with himself as the organization's president, his wife as vice-president, and his father-in-law as secretary.[20][24] Since then, Paul has been certified only by the NBO, which is not recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Medical Association,[24][26] or the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure.[27] The NBO was again dissolved in 2011.[28]
