The way I see it...

The people voted for "Obamacare" in the last election. They also voted for Barack Obama, a Democratic Senate, and a million more votes in the House of Representatives (Republicans protected themselves by gerrymandering many House districts).

The people want the ACA to be fixed. They want the Parties to work together to fix it. The people said clearly that there was something wrong with our old health insurance system and it needed to be fixed.

They do not wish to return to the old system where people were gouged to the max by these greedy insurance companies. The Democratic Party compromised by passing a Republican plan that was promoted by Bob Dole in a previous election. I guess the Republicans may not have been serious? I guess they wanted to protect the insurance companies all along?

If there are problems with the program, fix it. That is what the people want.
