I just enrolled for ins. through CoveredCA!

I went with a Silver plan with Blue Shield. I am currently with them, but they are cancelling my plan (a PPO) and wanted to roll me over into basically a Platinum plan. That plan would have monthly premiums of $458.96 which are just a bit too high IMO. My new Silver plan will run me $340 a month. I can deal with the $2K deductible....I am single, 49, estimating to make $45K next year. I did not qualify for subsidy..Hope I made a good decision. At least I'll have the option to increase my insurance level if I want thru the annual open enrollment the ACA allows.

I'm so happy to be a part of this, i.e. that I lived long enough to see this change. Now, hope I am still around to see single payer...hope hope!

had a $1K deductible and a $500.00 Rx deductible. I was paying $468 a month...the premiums kept creeping up and getting to be too high I think. I only go to the doc a couple times a years.

were paying $160 for Cadillac style plans and now they claim their insurance is 2 or 3 times as much under the ACA.

On edit: My next door neighbor was paying $850 a month for a plan that had a $375 deductible, a $7500 out of pocket and a 20% co-pay. He is getting a silver plan next year for $200 after
his tax credit, he is 61.

they were rear engine. Thought it just the VWs, of which we had several. My best friend drove a '63 Dart with the push button trans, that was pretty cool. My cousin had a Studebaker Blackhawk! Loved that car. I'm a car nut, btw...
