1. Giving Half of Your 401(k) to the Banks

The Frontline documentary The Retirement Gamble reported that a 401(k) fund earning 7% a year with 2% in fees would lose up to 60% of the value of an equivalent non-fee fund.

2. Watching 24,000,000 Children Go Hungry to Avoid Inconveniencing 20 Rich Individuals

It's an unthinkable trade-off, but it's happening. Although the 2013 SNAP (food stamp) budget of $78 billion isless than the 2012 investment earnings of 20 wealthy Americans, SNAP is being cut while not a penny extra is taken from the multi-billionaires.

3. Listening to the "Job Creators" Mock the Truth

Casino billionaire Steve Wynn: "Guys like me are job creators and we don't like having a bulls-eye painted on our back."

4. Feeling the Debilitating Stress

Over 200 recent studies have confirmed a link between financial stress and sickness. In just 20 years America's ranking among developed countries dropped on nearly every major health measure.

pot of gold is just around the corner ... and those propping the greedy outrageous element of capitalists up with the delusional mindset of they are really just like us. And, the gullibility of some Americans is outrageous, believing the hype-marketed political ad campaign garbage heaped onto them. ... get a brain!

I never cease to be amazed at how the poor, the majority of Americans now, often prop up those doing them in financially. We need a major paradigm shift in this country, how that will happen I have no idea, but hopefully the masses are waking up to what is going on.

One major step would be to get controls back on rampant capitalism, but how will that happen, the capitalists have wormed their way into almost all levers of power. They sure aren't going to do a F'en thing to derail their gravy train ... and our 12% approval rating congress, LOL! And who votes them in? The citizens of the US often fuck over themselves, willingly.

We are living through some dark times in the big picture, and a metamorphosis is occurring, which way it will go I have no idea ... hopefully for the better ... but as it seems with most things in life ... often it gets really bad before better.

Money, don't we get tired of hearing nothing but things about $$$$$. That, is the main thread of everything in this country. Way in the future, if we have one, money will be an obsolete concept.

The honest fact is that 75% of Dems and 110% of Repubs are totally sold out to big money and this SCOTUS will probably decide that, since corporations are people, they have the right to vote and lethal self-defence in the near future. Much of teh public have been essentially brainwashed into supporting teh rich over themselves by endless smearing together of communism and socialism, your news channels vary between mildly corporatist and aggressively corporatist and anyone who publically advocates a different way than vampire-like capitalism gets instantly shut down by the Very Serious People who run the media.

I'm a Social Democrat. I think that, in a perfect world, capitalism would have a place in that world. But with strict limits on it.
