Well, try this then ...

(62,265 posts)Hillary Clinton destroys all other candidates.
Completely obliterates if you look at said candidates this far out from the cycle.
We need to fervently look for a Hillary Clinton challenger by the end of this year.
Otherwise the Presidency is Hillary Clinton's to lose.

(62,265 posts)PPP's accuracy wasn't realized until 2008. Since then PPP has been the absolute most accurate pollster that exists. They know their shit.

(62,265 posts)Primaries happen the year before the inauguration. Petty.
edit: primaries for 2016 are, erm, 2015, 2 years. We need a challenger to Hillary Clinton by the end of this year or it's hers to lose. She'll announce in the middle or end of 2014. Bank on it.

(16,820 posts)Did you mean by the end of 2013? I think it would probably be better to wait until the end of 2014. The Clinton machine will start picking apart anyone we choose, so we don't want to give them that much time.
They (the Clintons) probably have a file on everyone in Congress who could possibly run. I understand the enthusiasm for Warren; I like her too. I just don't think she's going to run. I don't even think she would be a particularly good candidate. She's too green. At her age, this year or 2020 would be her only chance, too. She'll probably never be President unless she's chosen as a VP and something happens to the Pres. I think there are plenty of Democrats who find Hillary unacceptable, but we need to look beyond Warren for a challenger.

(93,884 posts)...you need to lay the groundwork for a campaign long before your announce. Biden is, O'Malley is, Schweitzer is, Warren is.....not.

(93,884 posts)Nope, she's at the "Ready for Hillary" event today. Sorry.

(46,928 posts)policies all along. She is not Bill. They have separate brains. Now that is not to say progressives won't have other bones to pick with her, but economic policy is the wrong one.
