Working his ass off and with good results for his trouble.

I don't think Susan Rice would have been as effective. Things work out for the best sometimes even if it doesn't look like it at first.

If Hillary wasn't too tired to do the talk shows and ask Rice to do that, Kerry might not be SoS. Interesting food for thoughts.

It is time to get real about the Palestinian situation. Yes the Palestinians have engaged in terrorism against Israel and it would be foolish to claim otherwise. However, Israel has also committed terrorism (or war crimes if you prefer) against Palestinians. For the two sides in this dispute to think that "an eye for an eye" will resolve the situation, or can ever resolve it, or can every contribute to resolving it, is beyond ridiculous.
