Where should we be shopping this holiday season?

I do like to vote with my feet and my dollars. I would like to feel that even a little bit my dollars will be going to companies that treat their employees with respect and dignity; that treat the environment as something of importance and that does business with others of integrity.

I feel that Costco does most if not all of this. But I would like to know what other retailers / websites are not going to take my dollars and stuff them into a teabag campaign. Or said another way, I don't want my purchases to come back and haunt me.

This seems like a good time to get a list before most of us think about shopping.

Thank you for any help you can give.

and all local craftspeople… would be a smart move… no need to shop at any chain store or corporate business

the best I can do is to say stay away from any Koch Industry products year round. There are sites to list those, plus products made in America. Buy union when you can.
