The rocky marriage of the marketplace and the government...

Will it last?

Both sides seem to have lost faith in each other and in themselves?

How could it possibly work when one side wants a program to help people see a doctor when they get sick and the other side wants to make more profit off these same people? They are at odds and contradictory to each other's purpose in life.

Now, some are calling it a debacle. Many have doubts that it is going to work. Those that were against the marriage in the first place are calling for a divorce.

Still others say that if you need a government program, don't involve the marketplace in the equation.

Those that promote the marketplace understand that there will be winners and losers. That is the price that must be paid.

Now, the bride is pregnant and the parents are saying that they have to work it out.
