Good wet afternoon, all y'all. I haven't posted in forever, but Piper Koozer's story demands it.

Last Sunday, the Salt Lake Tribune profiled a Tennessee family who pulled up stakes and moved to Colorado so they could obtain cannabis-based medicine for their two year old daughter. Piper has now been on a CBD-rich oral preparation ("Charlotte's Web&quot for less than a month and her epileptic seizures have already been reduced over 90%. Her story has been picked up here in Tennessee and this editorial (in today's Chattanooga paper) is one example:

There's neither a placebo nor a halo effect at work here. Just the kind Goddess helping one of her beautiful young daughters, while still wearing the slave chains of reefer madness.

Stay tuned for Tennessee's latest effort to re-establish our state's medical cannabis program (which ran from 1983-88 without incident). We will not stop fighting for science, common sense and compassion.

I am convinced that the first Old South state that re-legalizes medical cannabis will be the next-to-last stake in the heart of reefer madness. I sure hope so.
