Really disappointed with some of the people on this list and the co-sponsors:

The Democratic defectors were:
Rep. Ron Barber (Ariz.)
Rep. John Barrow (Ga.)
Rep. Ami Bera (Calif.)
Rep. Tim Bishop (N.Y.)
Rep. Bruce Braley (Iowa)
Rep. Julia Brownley (Calif.)
Rep. Cheri Bustos (Ill.)
Rep. Jim Costa (Calif.)
Rep. Peter DeFazio (Ore.)
Rep. Suzan DelBene (Wash.)
Rep. Tammy Duckworth (Ill.)
Rep. William Enyart (Ill.)
Rep. Elizabeth Esty (Conn.)
Rep. Bill Foster (Ill.)
Rep. Pete Gallego (Texas)
Rep. John Garamendi (Calif.)
Rep. Joe Garcia (Fla.)
Rep. Ron Kind (Wis.)
Rep. Ann McLane Kuster (N.H.)
Rep. Dave Loebsack (Iowa)
Rep. Dan Maffei (N.Y.)
Rep. Sean Maloney (N.Y.)
Rep. Jim Matheson (Utah)
Rep. Mike McIntyre (N.C.)
Rep. Jerry McNerney (Calif.)
Rep. Patrick Murphy (Fla.)
Rep. Rick Nolan (Minn.)
Rep. Bill Owens (N.Y.)
Rep. Scott Peters (Calif.)
Rep. Gary Peters (Mich.)
Rep. Colin Peterson (Minn.)
Rep. Nick Rahall (W. Va.)
Rep. Raul Ruiz (Calif.)
Rep. Bill Schneider (Ill.)
Rep. Kurt Schrader (Ore.)
Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (N.H.)
Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.)
Rep. Filemon Vela (Texas)
Rep. Tim Walz (Minn.).

The bill had three Democratic co-sponsors: Barrow, McIntyre and Murphy. Like Barrow and McIntyre, Matheson also usually joins with Republicans on controversial or closely watched bills because he represents a conservative district. Murphy is a freshman lawmaker who won a narrow victory last year in a district packed with seniors and retirees.

kentuck makes a very valid political case.

Maybe this was what it was all about, after all. If you read the WaPo link I posted, it seemed to allude to just that.

What I found interesting, as a former NY resident, was how many NY reps voted against -- and I have always said that NY isn't as Blue as people think. This vote comes on the heals of the congressional races heating up.

I may be disappointed, but I understand.

then not voting was a chicken shit move on her part. There are some good strong Democrats in her district that may chose to primary her if she keeps backing away from tough votes.

I likely won't contribute any more money to them. On a key vote like this, them voting with republicans is no different from a republican in their seats voting for the bill. If they lose, then in two years we can shoot to get stronger, more principled Democrats into the seats they vacate.

He is putting getting re-elected above principles. I think that he may be miscalculating, many voters that came out for him in 2012 did so because they dearly want more progressive leaders from their district.

There he is, the little weasel, just like clockwork. One of these days I'm going to let out under what circumstances I first met our illustrious Congresscritter (he was a state assemblyman back then) back in the early 1980's.
