who pretended to be a gay couple so they could move into a LGBT group-house (It's a long story but basically you couldn't live there if you're straight. It's was an off-campus group-house of and for LGBT students at CUA.) and share a bedroom because the rent was really low and the house was beautiful?

I'd say the average GOP anti-tax loon would at-least fake it for a while to attempt to avoid taxes.

I don't think they ever saw it; I never saw it...this was in the early 2000s so Bosom Buddies had been off the air for 20 years at that point.

No, they were just the sort of people that were not passing up a $400/mo. rent in a really nice clean house with nice amenities. The average bedroom in a group house in DC at the time went for twice that and was one inspection away from being condemned.
