I am such a doubtful thomas...

I wonder since it happened that Obama appeared on "60 Minutes" with Hillary Clinton. Why did he do it? Why did he pick her for State? Who in the hell advised him? I was disappointed.

The beautiful departures were affairs at the Pentagon that Obama and the military attended, Leon Panetta's for one, where Obama referred to him as someone who did his job without a personal agenda, and he did not attend Hillary's big party.

And how in the hell did Joe Biden become a laughing stock? He's one of the most respected and intelligent senators we've ever had, he was people friendly, knew the Congress, tops at foreign affairs, knowledgeable, and was full of empathy. The way he's piled on every time he goes public has to be orchestrated by some back-biting, sneaky, political enemy, a "Democrat," no less.and he never bites back.

I don't know, maybe he picked Hillary, like Huntsman, so that she wouldn't be a viable candidate in 2012 against him?

When Biden first met Obama and got to know him, very early in the Senate, he was the first one to say to Obama, to paraphrase, "someday you could/should be president, and was encouraging about it."

And don't forget, Obama has said a couple of times that "Joe Biden has his back." Reporters who know them they their friendship is legit.

A strange remark, "has my back." Kind of the kind of thing that when you go to you inlaws, you there's some aunt or uncle who likes you, even if the nasty ones don't.

Too many leftovers from the 2 previous administrations who are still worried about their sponsor's policital future, I think.

My guess is they did the interview to prove they had a good, strong friendship. I don't think it was an endorsement on his part, or even advocating her to run for office, but the realization she's a very popular figure nationally. Beyond that, though, it's clear Hillary & Obama disagree on a few things - specifically Syria.

Didn't Kerry have something just short of an argument with Netanyahu last week? Netanyahu likes Clinton.

and he's stuck with not publically arguing with her, for his own sake, and that of the party.

both to save the friendship. I'm just guessing, of course.
