A few months old, but still...
supremacist American Third Party (A3P) in what they called Operation
Blitzkrieg but they may have done much more.
In a document dump that includes private forum messages, emails,
organization notes another other information the group found numerous
connections between Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul and A3P. According to the documents, all hosted here, Paul himself regularly met with many A3P members, engaged in conference calls with their board of directors and engaged in a bridging tactic between A3P and the Ron Paul Revolution.
Other excerpts show A3P webmaster Jamie Kelso (whose email account
was one hacked by the collective) coordinating meeting between Paul and
other members of A3P such as corporate lawyer and chairman of the
neo-Nazi group Paul. Im going to go to the Conservative Political
Action Conference (CPAC) with Bill Johnson, reads an email to an A3P
member dated January 2011. Bill and I will be meeting with Ron and Ran Paul.
I have a teleconference call with Bill (and Ron Paul) tonight. Much
more later. Things are starting to happen (thanks to folks like you).
In another passage, Kelso, a former Scientologist and account owner
of other German Nazi forums, wrote: Ill be at CPAC from Feb. 9 to Feb.
12. Ill send back reports to you from personal meetings with Ron Paul,
newly-elected Senator Rand Paul and many others. Itll be here on
WhiteNewsNow, a place that is really starting to get interesting because
of the presence of folks like you. Birds of a feather flock together,
and we are really gathering some quality here.
Accusations of racism and ties to neo-Nazi interests have plagued
Paul since the 1990s and have re-surfaced during this campaign. So far
Paul has issued standard denials, claiming not to have been aware of the
ties between his camp and the racist right and denied authorship of a
series of racist newsletters, despite confirmation from his closest
staff that Paul signed off on every detail.

(30,058 posts)Same way. He railed against spending but was an earmark king, adding earmarks to bills he knew would pass and then vote against the bill and say he always voted against spending. He was not against spending more money on his travels when tax payers was paying the bill. I am glad he has retired.

Or is it a bowl of black squid ink spaghetti that somebody up-ended on his head? Maybe it's his brain matter - erupting to the surface through cracks in his skull like tar oozes up through cracks in the pavement near the La Brea Tar Pits?
And people actually vote for these two nutbags... What does that say about THEM???? (Never mind, we already know.)

(16,350 posts)At least you know exactly what you're dealing with. The Pauls and many libertarian/republicans publicly disavow racism while they work to advance racist and separatist policies. They may as well just come out and say who they are.

Back in the day, Communist Party members were considered seditious and were outlawed. They weren't and they shouldn't have been, but that is what happened. Now with these fascist, racist groups, who claim to be Christians, they really are seditious. They don't really believe the government we have is the one we should have. They don't believe the laws apply to them. If that isn't sedition I don't know what is. It seems they should be outlawed.

(7,392 posts)In addition to this obscure source. If this pans out it is hard to see how Rand Paul can stand for re-election. The other thing is the close tie between CPAC and the neo-Nazi movement. Any connections to Karl Rove or the Koch brothers found?

(267 posts)I really hope that no one here is surprised. It's been clear for a while that Ron Paul is a massive racist and Rand Paul wasn't any better.
On the other hand, it would be nice if this killed their political careers so we never have to hear from them again.

(10,893 posts)a few times on his show, but aside from that, I haven't heard much about Ron Paul's neo-nazi ties, either. It might have been because most of the news networks and shows didn't really see him as a viable candidate, anyway, and didn't take him seriously (he was one of a few GOP candidates who never led in the 2012 primaries).

the teahadist party is just that, modern day nazis and klan. Started small, where they end up, depends on the vigilance of thinking american citizens. And that they got a foothold at all is what makes me wonder how many of those citizens there are. And with the election of a nonwhite POTUS, the hidden racists have seemed to have exploded on the scene. Once our present POTUS was elected, fairly and squarely, they took off the gloves and the hoods and don't mind being seen as what they are. A nonwhite POTUS brought all this out and thank god, now at least they can be marked, categorized and watched, closely. Couldn't do that in the 50's and 60's. Ain't technology wonderful.

(1,151 posts)I wonder at it feels like to be a kentuckian these days. To have to live in a place with so many ignorant racist fools. They had a choice a few years ago to vote for an excellent candidate but they voted for a little creepy guy who is not qualified to run a small town. A guy who lives in his own little world where he declares himself to be a doctor. He is not a doctor. He is a creep.
I will watch as he is exposed more and more every day until he is either removed from office under law or has to face an electorate armed with knowledge of his fraud.
