3 students critical after gas leak at Montezuma Creek Elementary School

At least 13 people were hospitalized Monday morning after a propane leak that forced an evacuation at Montezuma Creek Elementary School.

Some of the victims, a mix of children and adults, were transported to Blue Mountain Hospital in Blanding.

Three children were transported via helicopter and listed in critical condition, according to San Juan County Commissioner Bruce Adams. It is unclear if the victims in critical condition were also taken to Blue Mountain Hospital or another facility
