made it appear. This was what he said:

“I could go on, but you get the point,” Bashir said. “When Mrs. Palin invokes slavery, she doesn’t just prove her rank ignorance. She confirms if anyone truly qualified for a dose of discipline from Thomas Thistlewood, she would be the outstanding candidate.”

it was pretty shocking

he played a clip of her speech equating ACA to slavery.

He then went on to quote from I guess a novel written by a slave / ex-slave about having been punished by having to shit in the mouth of a fellow slave.

Then there was another quote about peeing on someone.

I thought WHEW that's intense and it bothered me that he said this because it did seem to intense .. but he must have seen 12 Years a Slave - or something - and it moved him to lash out.

His anger is getting the best of him in the past few months. He needed to apologize and bring his tone down. No need to get down and fight at gutter levels.

Thanks for the concern.

He had nothing to apologize for; he just kept it real. It's not like he photo-shopped a picture of her with a turd hanging out of her mouth.

I guess, considering what happened to KO, MB had to capitulate. I don't think Shotgun Sarah deserves an apology for that. It's simply the truth shining a light on her vicious ignorance. I hope Martin starts looking for another gig in a more progressive venue, maybe Democracy Now!.
