My war on the Crime of marijuana possession begins today.

My letter to both the Dallas and Ft Worth papers.

Research done over the last thirty years has proven time and time again the beneficial effect that marijuana has on adults and children with epilepsy.Unfortunately, most of that research has been done in Europe and Asia.
Is medical research in The United States so profit-driven that we can no longer research for research's sake? The FDA refuses to reschedule marijuana as a Schedule Two drug so that thorough research can be done in our universities,as well. The American Medical Association has strongly encouraged The FDA to review this in light of benefits seen by their patients.Possession of marijuana in significant amounts remains a felony offense in Texas.
As a patient with epilepsy, I am begging our representatives to push for decriminalization of Marijuana in Texas.GW PHARMA LIMITED , a pharmaceutical company in Great Britain, has already patented the rights to canniboids as anti-epileptic agents. Great Britain allows research for research's sake.

recommendations from the liquor control board on how to regulate medical marijuana. I will be writing them to let them know that any democrat who votes for any recommendation that weakens patients rights will not receive my vote.

What has gone on in California (and I'll overlook for the sake of this post the Nazis from the DEA coming into communities and arresting people, without warrants, and shooting their dogs, and rounding up the kids and sending them off to Foster Care, or deportation), amounts to the same ol' same ol' - that only the top ten percent deserve legal abilities to do it.

Rules for cultivating medical marijuana in my county basically allow only those with property the legal right to do so.

If you don't have a certain amount of acreage, then according to how supervisors in the counties vote, then you don't deserve to grow it.

is very possible on this important subject. I just got home from a dispensary where a patient can obtain THC and CBD based medicines easily, safely and at fair cost. One day this will be true in the Lone Star State as well.

For them there is more profit in having young, non-violent slaves than those who have a tendency to do nasty things to people.
