Teabaggers go apoplectic over Obama omitting "God" fom Gettysburg Address

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/11/19/Obama-Removes-God-From-Gettysburg-Address

The latest teabagger "outrage" has to do with Obama "removing God" from the Gettysburg Address. Nevermind the fact that he was reading the version that Ken Burns requested, which just happens to be the earliest known version of the speech. Nevermind that the word "God" wasn't inserted into the speech until after the speech was given.

These people...the stupid...it scares me.

3. Not likely an accident or oversight, and I applaud the President for doing the right thing.

Lincoln or no, there is no place for God in the constitution and conduction of governmental affairs of this country.

4. Which version did Lincoln deliver at Gettysburg? That should be the one to be used.

If I understand the CBS report, Obama read DRAFT of the speech rather than the real speech. I understand he just read what Burns gave him, but why would somebody ask the President to read a DRAFT of the speech. That is absurd. He should be reading exactly what Lincoln said.

There were several versions that were written, but no technology to record the delivery. The people that attempted to write down what he spoke all wound up with different versions. So any one that claims that Lincoln had god in the speech are full of shit.

Try not to look at them and rationalize what they are trying to accomplish. It won't work.
