If there was ever a time for Democrats to get out and vote, it is 2014. It will be a disaster if the Republicans get the Senate in 2014 and it could happen especially if Dems don't actively participate like they did in 2008.

Do the Republicans really think they stand much chance of taking over the Senate or White House in the near future? Who the hell is going to vote for them? They've pissed off women, minorities, gays, veterans, almost everyone except old white men and those who don't think for themselves.

They'll have to steal every election if they want to win anything, because their voter base is shrinking and Independents are turning away from the party in droves. Independents above all else expect both parties to work together, and it's clear the GOP has no intention of working with the Democrats, despite attempts by the Dems to reach across the aisle.

The New Confederacy has been using the Filibuster to halt the agenda of the majority for far too long as it is. Its about time the majority party was able to enact its agenda, install its judicial choices, and fill vacancies in federal agencies.

We will not just sit here saying oh well...because if we change anything, some day, when we aren't the majority, you morons will keep doing more of the same.

Republicans weren't going to vote for democrats in the first place. Democrats aren't going to vote for republicans. Swing voters have been shown to be fed up with congress which has a 9% approval rating, and this issue is really only of interest to people obsessed with politics like us and our counterparts on the right so it's not going to sway the swings one way or another.

Yeah, I'm quaking in my booties.
