What would it be called? Zygote Day?
Would there be cake? Gifts? Singing?
Maybe a game of pin the sperm on the egg?

(21,020 posts)that doesn't mean my mom wouldn't know. Not that I'd want her to tell me, though. That would be too weird.
OTOH, I do know the exact dates two of my three children were conceived, and have an inkling about the third.

(20,176 posts)Really. I was stunned. I Googled it thinking "Well, there's probably some moron..." only to discover that this is a thing...a real thing that actually has some traction in the moron-sphere.
Globally it has more acceptance than in the Americas, with a greater logical basis. Conception celebrations and measuring age from conception are common in many global cultures, including most of East Asia, many (but not all...I could not find a measure of what %) Muslim cultures and some Jewish communities.

(1,186 posts)... try to get a dependent tax deduction for a child conceived in the previous year. If they truly believe that life begins at conception, then they should take a moral stand and deduct the little fetus on the year of conception, not the year of the birth.
Let's see if the IRS puts the anti-choicers in the slammer.
