Are MSNBC commentators getting too shrill? Also having different sounds levels

between hourly shows is very annoying. The morning shows seem to be better with sound and shrill index but evening shows are off the charts most days. IMO.

But I do find myself turning down the volume on my TV when I watch his show.

back in 2006-2007 when I told friends about his show I would call him the left's Limbaugh.

It was really remarkable how similar their delivery was. I think Ed has gotten a bit more polished, but he slips back into it from time to time

And I have stopped watching. I am listening to good music instead and getting my news from the internets.

I preferred listening to my tinnitus. I found, especially in the evenings, that I would go to bed with all this crap on my mind and have trouble getting to sleep thinking about it. I have speakers flanking my bed and I just listen to light classical music or movie themes on low and find it much more conducive to a good nights sleep. I too get most of my news on the internet and here on DU. Works fine for me.

Same with the others. Ed also needs to sit down and have a conversation rather than dancing around, shaking his arms and stumbling over his words. He seems to get ahead of himself.

Chris needs to STOP interrupting. Even the guests are getting disgusted with it and visibly so. I thought it was just me, but it is very irritating.

Rachel still repeats a point in 3 different ways with most of her comments. Instead of listening to what she has to say, I find myself counting the repeats of the same information.

It appears they've tried to slow down the one before Rachel. He also talks over his guests and needs to stop. Why do they have guests on? Shut up and listen to what they have to say. Please.

like Sharpton, Ed Schultz, and Chris Matthews who think that yelling replaces analysis. I agree with them but their show is awful, like preachers rather than people who want to inform their viewers.

Exception to the rule : Alex Wagner and Thomas Roberts.
