I had learned to properly "parse" sentences. That seems to have been a skill abandoned before I encountered it in school. But as an intellectual exercise, I think trying to parse one of Sarah's sentences would be...surreal!... and rewarding--I keep envisioning those literate in English returning LTTE corrected for spelling, grammar, usage, etc.
