edit: that headline is not a typo....it's a quote.
does this mean God watches faux news?
I move on and I charge forth, she explained. However, if Mr. Bashir or anybody else in this media elite bubble that they put themselves were to attack someone who is defenseless like a vulnerable child who does not have the podium, that microphone that God has blessed me to be able to express my opinion, if they dont have that type of platform to defend themselves, well, if you want to see a mama grizzly get riled up and slap that person down then you come after a vulnerable child.

(4,119 posts)As if Bashir or anyone in the media would attack a child! She's defending a situation that doesn't exist.
Media isn't perfect but so far they only attack ignorant adults.

(36,988 posts)The researchers compared genetic data from fossils of Neanderthals and another group of ancient human ancestors called Denisovans to data from modern-day cancer patients. They found evidence of Neanderthal and Denisovan viruses in the modern human DNA, suggesting that the viruses originated in our common ancestors more than half a million years ago.
This latest finding, reported in Current Biology, will enable scientists to further investigate possible links between ancient viruses and modern diseases including HIV and cancer, and was supported by the Wellcome Trust and Medical Research Council (MRC).
Around 8% of human DNA is made up of endogenous retroviruses (ERVs), DNA sequences from viruses which pass from generation to generation. This is part of the 90% of our DNA with no known function, sometimes called junk DNA.
I wouldnt write it off as junk just because we dont know what it does yet, said Dr Gkikas Magiorkinis, an MRC Fellow at Oxford Universitys Department of Zoology. Under certain circumstances, two junk viruses can combine to cause disease weve seen this many times in animals already. ERVs have been shown to cause cancer when activated by bacteria in mice with weakened immune systems.

You will NEVER see her in an interview that the questions she's asked haven't been sent to her and approved. She won't let the disaster of "Mean Old Couric" exposing her ever happen again.

(9,033 posts)I had learned to properly "parse" sentences. That seems to have been a skill abandoned before I encountered it in school. But as an intellectual exercise, I think trying to parse one of Sarah's sentences would be...surreal!... and rewarding--I keep envisioning those literate in English returning LTTE corrected for spelling, grammar, usage, etc.
I suppose it is a personal failing of mine, wanting to embarrass Princess Dumbass of the North, but I'm willing to shoulder that burden in this instance.
P.S. "God blessed me with a platform...to defend myself"? Why is this about her? (it's a rhetorical question)
