red to purple to blue. These women all women can make that happen.

We have such strength, freshwest. Untapped strength. The GOP is about to see what happens when women stand together and let their voices be heard. It's a wave and it is going to come down hard on the GOP.

It is our time, it is our place.

"Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world, it is past time for women to take their rightful place, side by side with men, in the rooms where the fates of peoples, where their children’s and grandchildren’s fates, are decided." --Hillary Clinton

Leverage H.H. properly, please.

Anything else taken from him, or just for convenience sake? Curious.

Not that I think it's incorrect... but just suppose one of these great Democratic women didn't have a "feminine" appearance? Should that even matter?

(It probably does, simply because politics is as much about image as anything else and the electorate are more responsive to politicians who match conventional standards of appearance... but I'm still leery of gloating that "our" women are also "feminine&quot

That said - what a great bunch; I'm especially thrilled with Warren and Davis! (I know less about Grimes but hope she can unseat McConnell, and Hilary is certainly tough and smart even if she's well to the right of me.)

I suppose we can't get away from what marketing culture has imposed upon us… that feminine should be sweet, dainty, sexy, charming and such… but I think feminine here merely implies that they are female

feminine is merely explaining the gender… alas, we are such a product of what the sellers want us to think and be

I suppose it could go either way, but that's just how it struck me initially! Certainly I'd not have batted an eyelash at "female!" I think mainly it's just obvious that they're women even without that word, so for me the "value added" of having "feminine" on the list seems to be pointing out a little more than just that they're female.

Hey, she's pretty good, too. Did a lot of work that the old white men in the Senate shot down, but she got a lot done.

....always has been.
Any culture which ignores the talents, skills, ideas, contributions, devotions, or raw potential of some of it's members based on stupid reasons like; reproductive capabilities, number of rotations around the sun, perceptions of divinity, preferences in non-reproductive sex, local geography at time of birth, inherent ability to tan, or any other superfluous dipshit reason; deserves to be bypassed.

I wish Ms. Clinton was a bit further left.
I wish Ms. Warren was a tad more ambitious.
I wish Ms. Davis multiple terms as Governor.
I wish Ms. Grimes luck.
