Can you imagine Putin ordering a plan implemented, then being nationally embarrassed because his subordinates failed to perform their jobs?
No doubt some people would be taking a vacation in Siberia, or worse!
I wish I could see Obama doing the American version... something like this -

"Who was on this project? You are all FIRED!

I am the PRESIDENT of the U.S.A., dammit!
WHEN I SAY I WANT A PROGRAM IMPLEMENTED, IT BETTER DAMN WELL WORK!
Put a team on this - I want this performing at 100% YESTERDAY, I don't care if you have to short dick every freaking geek in the N.S.A. to do it!"

I realize this is not Obamas style, but sometimes I wish "no drama Obama" would take a walk and let "I Got Osama Obama" take over for a while...

This is based on a real experience. As a new hire, I attended an orientation across the hall from the owner/c.e.o.'s office. A middle manager was giving him crap, and the reply was almost identical to what I describe above. The walls nearly shook. The middle manager emerged looking pale with pants stained brown...
Back then I thought it was bullying. In hindsight, seeing the success this man created a company from the ground up, (not corporate) I have to call it "executive gravitas".
